â—Ž Next.ID at a glance

Untitled

Next.ID is a decentralized and open identity protocol that connects profiles across Web2 and Web3, enhancing data ownership and mobility. Developers and projects can utilize our comprehensive and verifiable identity database to create innovative decentralized applications (dApps).

As the world’s first DIaaS (Decentralized-Identity-as-a-Service), Next.ID creates an identity infrastructure that securely aggregates users’ identities into Avatars, making it the primary touch point for interfacing with any App or dApp.

Avatars exist independently from Web2 and Web3, using a blockchain-like model to retain data integrity. This allows Next.ID to connect to all Web2 and Web3 platforms, aggregating all identities in a fully-agnostic way, unifying them into one single decentralized identifier (DID).

3 product offerings

The Next.ID DID (decentralized identity) solution aims to serve as an infrastructure service to developers, with which a more seamless App onboarding and profile connection experience are made possible.

DID-based authentication

It uses your familiar Web2 credentials to access Web3 services with DID as a backend infrastructure, empowered by ProofService and AuthService.

Universal profile SDK

By leveraging RelationService and Web3.bio, all application developers should eventually be able to access a universal profile SDK that showcases users’ enriched Web2&3 social profiles easily. The connection and verification of different identities should be done with 1 simple click.

Identity service marketplace

Developers should find it handy within the Next.ID identity service marketplace where they can find all the helpful tools offered by Next.ID and relevant projects to build user profiles and chat forums within an App with minimum effort.

5 services

Dedicated to building the next-gen DID infra, 5 services act as the foundational layer for Next.ID and supercharges our product, they are ProofService, RelationService, KVService, AuthService, and CoreService.
